J.J. HIPPS & THE HIDEAWAY is a three-piece electric blues band out of Lenoir, North Carolina. With a rock steady rhythm section, J.J. Hipps's lead guitar soars into the stratosphere with sonic influences from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Freddie King, and vocals ranging from the howls of a hurt man, to the love struck crooning of Elvis.
