This full-bodied Merlot is aged in oak and opens with lush dark fruit of black cherries and currant with a soft,supple finish.  Pairs well with a robust cheese like Pecorino or Gruyere.  Fairly versatile when it comes to food pairing options; chicken, red meat, pork, pastas and salads - Merlot can handle them all well.
